It all started at Oakwood University. Connecting via a mutual friend would lead to Sydnee driving Gabriel to his first Student Government meeting. After graduation and going their separate ways...they continued to keep in touch on an annual basis until finally, they noticed a spark!

Soon thereafter Sydnee was looking to transition out of her job and Gabriel was nearly finished with his graduate degree, they were both looking for a way to begin a new phase of life closer to one another. After praying and fasting, she landed a job in Atlanta which afforded them the opportunity to live in the same city.

Distance no longer a concern... they realized that no matter the circumstances, they always landed at the same thought: they
want to be with one another.

On an average day you can find this thoughtful, kind yet deep thinking, free spirit of a couple wrapped with synergy, anywhere between prayer, meditation, bossing it up in their careers and
spending quality time together.

December of 2021, Gabriel and Sydnee got engaged, and look forward to a life of love, adventure, inspiration, learning, peace and joy. From clean lines, neutral colors with hints of amber, citrus and wood...to a calming vibe with good times being had by all... they are excited to see it all come together. Here's to #byrdtocarter.
